Giving Back

Serving others is at the core of Thalia Stanley Group. This goes beyond helping our clients to achieve financial independence; making a difference in other people's lives through charitable work and giving our time is deeply imbedded in our culture.

Our founder Marion Mays holds a strong sentiment about giving back and looking out for the less fortunate in our communities. As such she has been a long-standing supporter of a number of charitable organisations that support women and children experiencing domestic violence.

In November 2017 Marion was appointed to the White Ribbon Advocate Program. As a White Ribbon Advocate, Marion stands alongside Ambassadors to promote gender equality, respectful relationships and the engagement of men in preventing men’s violence against women.

Thalia Stanley Group proudly donates 100% of nett proceeds from our events to the prevention of domestic violence against women and children.

Marion is also commited to helping those experiencing homelessness. Marion will be participating once again in the 2018 Vinnies CEO Sleepout, after her efforts in 2017 saw her raise over $7,000 for homeless Australians. Marion has joined many others in calling on the leaders of Australia's banks to join her at next year's sleepout.

Financial Literacy

Thalia Stanley Group run workshops on Financial Literacy and Education for corporate, community groups and schools. We make these programs available to NFP and community groups supporting disadvantaged members of our community in the areas of homelessness, domestic violence and poverty on a 'no cost' basis (conditions apply and applications are assessed on a case by case basis).
